Turning complexity into
product direction.

I'm Oliwia — a CSPO-certified product and UX/UI designer with four years on complex B2B platforms, SaaS tools, and enterprise portals. I turn fragmented stakeholder needs into clear product direction teams can actually build.

PORTRAIT

I'm a CSPO-certified UX/UI and product designer with four years building complex digital products — B2B platforms, SaaS tools, and enterprise customer portals. My work sits where UX, product discovery, stakeholder alignment, and Agile delivery meet.

At Hitachi Energy I work on the Collaborative Operations Portal, a B2B platform used by internal and external users across multiple business units. The role spans product and design: information architecture, stakeholder workshops, usability testing, card sorting, requirements clarification, and close collaboration with business analysts, developers, and process owners.

I translate fragmented business-unit input into clear user flows, page structures, and scalable UI direction — balancing user needs, business priorities, technical feasibility, and delivery constraints. Earlier, at OKAPI:Orbits, I redesigned SaaS collision-avoidance software for satellites and designed a new platform for space-traffic workflows.

Studying and working across Poland, Italy, France, Germany, and Portugal has shaped an adaptable, cross-cultural way of collaborating. I'm increasingly focused on the product side — defining what to build and why, not just how it looks.

01 — Hitachi Energy · Collaborative Operations Portal

Redesigning the COP homepage into a role-aware command center

The problem

A deprioritised homepage built on outdated assumptions — a dense directory of links with weak hierarchy and unclear terminology. Users couldn't tell what the portal offered or where to go after login.

What I did

Solo designer from research to deployment. Ran workflow-based interviews and embedded usability tests inside real portal flows, then designed a role- and subscription-aware homepage with lightweight KPI widgets — validated with developers early.

Installed Base — a structure problem, not a screen redesign

The problem

One Installed Base experience had to serve 6+ business units with different products, terminology and expectations — with no shared user model, legacy single-BU pages, and a portal-wide rebrand running in parallel.

What I did

Solo designer, end to end. Facilitated workshops, built proto-personas, ran card sorting that exposed the "Assets overload" risk before it shipped, and designed a scalable hierarchy that later absorbed new content with no rebuild.

CASCADE — a coordination platform for satellite operators

The problem

Satellite operators couldn't easily trust or reach their conjunction partners, and had to make fast collision-avoidance decisions across scattered tools. The goal: one place for communication, data sharing and conjunction coordination.

What I did

Led research and design for the ESA-sponsored MVP. Ran UX workshops, mapped user flows and a priority matrix, built lo-fi to hi-fi wireframes, then validated with in-depth interviews with 11 operators across England, France and Italy.

A space weather widget for safer maneuver decisions

The problem

Operators relied on multiple space-weather sources that were time-consuming and hard to interpret — slowing the maneuver decisions that depend on accurate, real-time conditions.

What I did

Benchmarked existing platforms, ran workshops to define needs and prioritise features, and designed a focused widget. After feedback from aerospace engineers, surfaced Radio Blackouts and Solar Radiation Storms as values with a three-day forecast.

Words from the people I've built with.

One of the most user-focused UI/UX professionals I've met. She has a remarkable ability to step into the shoes of the end user and translate complex business requirements into intuitive experiences — her wireframes and mockups make it easy for developers to align on the vision.
Grzegorz PisarczykSenior Business Analyst (CBAP), Hitachi Energy
Working with Oliwia was a fantastic experience. She places significant importance on the discovery phase, making sure to understand the end user's perspective and how they'll use the application. Her ability to collaborate with both developers and stakeholders ensures seamless project execution.
Marcin BiałowąsProduct Owner & Chief Software Development Engineer, Hitachi Energy
I implemented Oliwia's UI/UX designs as a fullstack developer. Very creative and meticulous — her designs were always visually appealing and user-friendly, and she adjusted them based on practical implementation feedback. A great asset to any team seeking top-notch designs.
